The resplendent click beetle, sometimes called the green click beetle based on some colour forms, is a metallic click beetle. Almost described as the green or copper equivalent of the Sapphire-winged click beetle, it is tied for the title of Alberta's most beautiful click beetle.

AppearanceEdit

Resplendent click beetles are relatively variable, appearing in varying lustres of bronze, copper, and green. Some may appear blue at certain angles, but it is unheard of for an individual to retain an entirely blue elytra.

BehaviourEdit

Slow-walking, and holds wings out for approximately 1.5 seconds before take-off.
