Order Passeriformes Edit
Animalia----Tetrapoda----Aves (Birds)----Neorthines----Neognathae----Neoaves----Passeriformes (Perching birds)
The birds in the Order Passeriformes are the species one is likely to attract to bird feeders and see most often. Robins, Warblers, Flycatchers, Sparrows and more are a few of the birds you can expect to find in this section. Strangely Corvids; Crows, Jays and similar are classified as "Perching and Singing birds" yet their musical talent is generally not really that good and they do not really "perch"; another group which are silent and do not perch are Dippers.
Bird species in bold are adventitive individuals that have only been recorded and accepted by the Alberta Rare Bird Commitee in Alberta up to 9 times.
Families; big list...They are ordered Common name alphabetically (example, Crows, Dippers, etc.) except Starlings which I forgot to add.
